WHODUNIT?

”A Peculiar Puzzle Paradox”

murder mystery team building

Your participants, led by an eccentric event host, have just entered a beautiful courtyard (or ballroom, or hotel lobby, or . . .) to find a detective standing over a draped dead body. Once they’ve crossed the police line, they are suspects and may not leave until the mystery is solved. As teams meander from room to room, where they’ll encounter other suspects, already on site, they must solve a series of puzzles and riddles to collect the information they need to exonerate themselves by solving the “who, what, when, where, why, and how” within the scene of the crime. With thousands of murder mystery experiences worldwide, the options seem limitless, BUT you have to go to them. Whodunit? comes to you!

The Experience At A Glance

  • Upon arrival at the venue, and learning of what’s happened, the on-site detective will form your participants into teams, where they are instantly engaged in stimulating icebreakers, to get in the competitive state of mind. Immediately following, teams are informed of the task at hand, and learn of the competition against each other, in an effort to solve the murder and prevent themselves from being found guilty.

  • As teams break off and encounter other suspects in various locations within the venue, they collectively complete a variety of mental and physical puzzles, of different varieties, all in order to learn additional information to solve the mystery. Don’t box your mind into this . . . a jigsaw puzzle is only one form of challenge teams face . . . we’ve got plenty of other tricks up our sleeves.

  • After scouring each location and meeting the suspects, each team creates and performs a brief presentation, in which they’ll showcase their theory of the who, what, when, where, why, and how for their colleagues, often resulting in great laughs and thunderous applause for all.

  • Don’t forget to add the food and beverage. This program works brilliantly during a cocktail reception, leading into a sit-down dinner, whether buffet or plated. So, pick your favorite cuisine and start ordering!

  • Whether it be part of a morning breakfast meeting, an afternoon break, a cocktail reception, or a stand-alone affair, Whodunit? will have your participants thinking about their surroundings, and their colleagues, in new ways . . . and perhaps even arching some eyebrows!

“Matt is terrific! He is professional, energetic, and collaborative during the "business phase" leading up to an event. His programs are creative and exciting. Highly recommend!”
