BLANKETS & BOOKS & BEARS
Do you remember your first teddy bear? Was it brown? Was it black? Was it even a bear? Did you have a childhood blanket that was your safety net? Sadly, many children don’t have these two simple, comforting items in their lives. That’s where you come in! Blankets & Books & Bears: Virtual Edition is our socially responsible, socially distant experience benefiting younger, underprivileged children. Each participant is sent a “B3 Kit” containing fleece, bear “skins,” stuffing, and tools that he or she will use to lovingly fashion a knot blanket and teddy bear, to be given to a young child. Just for good measure, we throw in a child’s book, too . . . it’s never too early to learn to read. Additionally, we play a virtual game show, all “B3-themed,” which has teams attempting to outscore their opponents.
The Experience At A Glance
Each participant will receive the supplies needed to create a “B3 Bundle,” consisting of a knot blanket, a children’s book, and a stuffed animal, as well as a homemade greeting card for the child recipient.
We provide each participant with detailed step-by-step instructions that guide the painters throughout the simple, yet creative, process.
No gift is complete without an accompanying greeting card. Here, participants fashion their own, hand-made, personalized card, which will be given, along with a “B3 Bundle,” to a young child.
While this experience allows for participants to complete the tasks “at their leisure,” we recognize that some groups would like to have all of the participants convene, remotely, to complete the tasks, together. For this, we produce a Zoom video session. While individuals are assembling their blankets, stuffing their bears, inscribing their books, and designing their greeting cards, they also play our “B3 Trivia” game show, in teams, vying for gold medals.
Whenever possible, a representative from the philanthropic organization accepting your generous donation, on behalf of the children who will receive it, will join the video session, and address your group, providing a heart-warming, face-to-face acknowledgment of your hard work.
“Creating something together while getting to know each other has never been so much fun!
What an amazing way to relax, bond, and create at the same time. Having the artist join us was an extra special touch.
It's perfect for work teams, family, or friends. Can't wait to do it again.”
It’s important for us to have a personal connection with you. As a result, we don’t provide every little detail here.
