Blankets & Books & Bears in Orlando

We had a blast with this group, and our Blankets & Books & Bears experience, in Orlando, Florida, last week!

Do you remember your first teddy bear? Did you have a childhood blanket that was your safety net? Sadly, many children don’t have these two simple, comforting items in their lives. Blankets & Books & Bears is our socially responsible experience benefiting younger, underprivileged children. Participants are tasked with a variety of mental and physical challenges in order to earn fleece, bear “skins,” stuffing, and tools that they’ll use to lovingly fashion knot blankets and teddy bears, to be given to a young child. Just for good measure, we throw in a child’s book, too . . . it’s never too early to learn how to read. Of course, we include some good old-fashioned competition, as teams attempt to outscore their opponents, in a truly heartwarming battle for the gold!
