SHIPS AHOY

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be Jack Sparrow? Well, grab your pirate sword, don your feathered hat, and get ready to sail away! Provided with minimal supplies, teams are challenged to design and build a free-floating raft, which they’ll then race against their competitors. With flags flying high, and uproarious cheering from their mates, it’s Ships Ahoy as racers paddle with all their might, veering from port to starboard, hoping their crafts are seaworthy. There’ll be no need to swab the deck, as your raft likely won’t have much of one. In addition, every band of pirates has its own, unique shanty, and your team will write and perform its own. Will your vessel withstand the chop of the waves, or will you be seeing visions of The Titanic? Ahoy, mateys!
