SWIMMING WITH SHARKS
You’ve seen the T.V. show, and now it’s time for your teams to create, build, and pitch products in which the “sharks” will either invest, ensuring a hit new item, or pass, leaving those contestants as chum in the water. Yup, our Swimming With Sharks experience is that simple. Or is it? Each team must communicate, collaborate, and create, using innovative thinking, in order to succeed.
Does your team have the guts to jump in the water?
The Experience At A Glance
Upon arrival at the boardroom, participants are formed into teams and are instantly engaged in stimulating icebreakers to get into the competitive state of mind. Immediately following, teams are informed of the task(s) at hand, and dive in. At this point, it’s sink or swim!
With instructions in hand, teams are sent off to multitask, drawing upon their best collaborate efforts, and in a limited amount of time, create a product or service, design and build a model, using pre-selected supplies, and write and practice a perfect pitch, in order to “wow” the sharks and earn the top investment offer.
While “fun” is prevalent throughout, the pressure is on as teams must work together, drawing on, and showcasing, its members strengths.
We believe that no team challenge is complete without some sort of live publicity presentation highlighting the team’s hard work, spirit, and collaboration. This is the “pitch.” Your participants create and perform this presentation for the judges, and their colleagues,” hoping for accolades, and thunderous applause . . . and of course, a lucrative offer of investment!
The stakes are high and the competition fierce, as each team attempts to outscore the competition and take home (and to the office), the gold medals. What’s more, there may be ideas worthy of further investigation, outside of the board room!
For those that wish, this experience may be incorporated during, or around, a meal.
“YOU guys are awesome!
It was super FUN and everyone enjoyed it - great "lunch break" for the teams!”
