CONFECTION

CONSTRUCTION CHALLENGE

Research says that chocolate can be enjoyed as part of a balanced, heart-healthy diet and lifestyle. Really! That’s music to our ears! So, let yourself indulge in Confection Construction Challenge - the sweetest construction project outside of Hershey, PA! We provide some of the hottest (as in most-adored . . . not melted) chocolate bars and other candies out there, as well as a few “obscurities,” to allow for the most creativity from your participants. Whether it be the Capitol Building in Washington, DC, the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, or the Alamo in San Antonio (OK, these are just a few ideas), it’s all hands in the cookie jar . . . er . . . well, you know what we mean.

The Experience At A Glance

  • Confection Construction Challenge starts off with an ice-breaking activity to get the competitive spirit flowing.

  • Constructing their buildings, using a limited number of pre-determined supplies, teams are tasked to design build a famous landmark.

  • The initial supplies are never enough, so teams compete in a number of different mental and creative activities, in order to earn additional supplies to enhance and decorate their buildings and landscapes.

  • We give each team the same set of basic tools, as well as general guidelines, but we’ve eliminated the detailed instruction manual. While it may initially seem to be a hindrance, this allows for collaboration and creativity to organically rise out of the rubble and permeate the teams.

  • Individual teams, as well as groups of teams, must partner with each other to create the overall “cityscape,” indicative of your geographical location. Flags, banners, street signs, lampposts, and more are all designed to adorn the space, making it a fully experiential environment.

  • We believe that no team challenge is complete without some sort of live publicity presentation highlighting the team’s hard work, spirit, and collaboration. Your participants create and perform this presentation for their colleagues, often resulting in great laughs and thunderous applause for all.

  • Ultimately, the team that proves its structure’s worthiness and wows the judges with a top-notch team presentation scores the highest, winning the golden tickets and the keys to the chocolate factory.

"Premier Team Building IS THE WAY TO GO for all of your team building needs! We had a group of around 40 people and chose the Confection Construction Challenge which was SO engaging, fun for everyone (ages ranging from early 20's to early 60's), and SWEET (pun intended)! Our leader, Shawn, knocked it out of the park with his leadership and execution. We hope to use Premier Team Building again for future corporate and local events!"

It’s important for us to have a personal connection with you. As a result, we don’t provide every little detail here.
