THE FRENCH QUARTER

French Quarter team building

Kick up your heels with this four-part challenge, highlighting various cultures and festivities from The Big Easy, where participants utilize different skill sets, in an attempt to take home the gold. So you think you know how to party? We’ll find out when you design, construct, and decorate a mini Mardi Gras parade float. Do you have what it takes to be a mixologist at New Orleans’ famed Pat O’Brien's? We’ll find out in our hurricane cocktail challenge. You want to be the next Emeril Lagasse? We’ll see if you have what it takes in the muffuletta sliders challenge. Get ready . . . get set . . . go! Let’s see how well you do in our Crawfish Relay challenge. Of course, nothing is ever as simple as it seems, so get ready, because it’s time to celebrate!

The Experience At A Glance

  • After the formation of teams and some spirited activities to get the energy flowing, teams are guided from station to station, where they compete in specific mental, minimally-physical, and creative challenges.

  • With limited time at each station, collaboration is essential. Using only the tools provided, minimal instruction, and a lack of recipes, teams must work together to complete the tasks at hand before the sound of the horn, and its rotation to the next quadrant.

  • While Zydeco and New Orleans jazz pumps up the atmosphere, your participants will be-bop to the beats, feeling as if they were the grand marshals of the famed Fat Tuesday parade.

  • For those who prefer to not include alcohol, you may cut it, completely, if you wish, and we may provide an alternative “fourth quarter” activity. The other option is to make hurricane mocktails. The choice is yours.

  • For those who wish to have more of a “networking” experience, depending upon overall group size, we are often able to incorporate “mix and match,” where participants start off on one team and unbeknownst to them, periodically change, throughout, ensuring they work with a variety of their colleagues.

  • While the final scores are tabulated, participants have an opportunity to sample other teams’ muffulettas and hurricane cocktails, as they wait, with bated breath, for the announcement of who will take home the golden mask! The French Quarter is sure to have your team kicking it up a notch!

“Thank you so much for jumping in and putting this together at the last minute.

Thank you also for being so flexible and working with us every step of the way to fine tune this request and for adjusting to the changes as they came.

It is very much appreciated. You were very easy and pleasant to work with so that too is appreciated ;)”

It’s important for us to have a personal connection with you. As a result, we don’t provide every little detail here.
