HEARTSTRING HEROES

Being a guitar hero isn’t just a video game anymore! Heartstring Heroes is our philanthropic experience that finds participants building and decorating guitars, ukuleles, tambourines, and more, all to be donated to a local charitable organization that enhances lives through music. We test each team’s musical mastery with a variety of mental and minimally-physical challenges, to earn their supplies. Once achieved, the instruments are assembled, decorated, tuned . . . and often tested for sound quality, with rousing covers of popular hits! One of the oldest forms of expression, music elicits the whole gamut of emotions, and we’re confident your participants will feel a range from happy to excited to proud to . . . you get the idea.

The Experience At A Glance

  • Upon arrival at the venue, participants are formed into teams, or “bands,” and are instantly engaged in stimulating icebreakers, to get in the “good will” and “competitive” states of mind.

  • Teams earn their tool kits, electric guitar kits, ukulele kits, amplifiers, tuners, and other supplies by collectively completing photo, video, and trivia challenges, using our iPad Minis, loaded with Premier Pursuits®, our proprietary app.

  • We’re happy to include acoustic guitars, tambourines, and/or maracas, which will be hand-painted, too.

  • Building a guitar or ukulele isn’t rocket science, but there are specific steps that must be taken. Throughout, inspections on your participants’ progress will be made, to ensure total success. Bands also will decorate the guitar cases to give them the pizzazz they deserve.

  • No team challenge is complete without some sort of live publicity presentation highlighting the team’s hard work, spirit, and collaboration. Your participants create and perform these presentations for their colleagues, often resulting in great laughs and thunderous applause.

  • Whenever possible, a representative from the philanthropic organization accepting your generous donation, on behalf of the children who will receive it, will address your group, providing a heart-warming, face-to-face acknowledgment of your hard work.

  • No matter which team has the highest score and takes home the gold medals, we assure you . . . the rhythm is gonna get you!
