FOSTER FAMILY:

MISSION TRANSITION

foster care charity team building

Two trash bags and five minutes to pack them . . . that’s the standard for what a child receives when he or she is being taken out of his or her home and placed in foster care. Foster Family: Mission Transition is your opportunity to change that.  This socially responsible experience benefits children of all ages. Participants are tasked with a variety of mental and physical challenges, fit for children, in order to earn duffel bags, fleece, and toiletry supplies, which they then lovingly fashion into a “kit” which will be given to a child being removed from an unsafe home environment.  Of course we include some good old-fashioned competition, as teams attempt to outscore their opponents, in a heartwarming battle for the gold!

The Experience At A Glance

  • Foster Family: Mission Transition starts off with an ice-breaking activity to get into the “good will” and “competitive” states of mind.

  • Teams earn their various supplies by collectively completing photo, video, and trivia challenges, using our iPad Minis, loaded with Premier Pursuits®, our proprietary app.

  • Each team will create 5 “foster kits” consisting of a knot blanket, a toiletry kit, a small duffel bag, and a large duffel bag, as well as a homemade card for the recipient. Individual pride, as well as team spirit, fills the room, as well as the hearts of all involved.

  • We believe that no team challenge is complete without some sort of live publicity presentation highlighting the team’s hard work, spirit, and collaboration. Your participants create and perform this presentation for their colleagues, often resulting in great laughs and thunderous applause for all.

  • Whenever possible, a representative from the philanthropic organization accepting your generous donation, on behalf of the individuals who will receive it, will address your group, providing a heart-warming, face-to-face acknowledgment of your hard work.

  • At the conclusion of this experience, your participants will, without a doubt, feel a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing they have helped children in need.

“Matt and his team did a great job of customizing a wonderful team building experience for our group. Everyone was engaged, had fun, and gave back to an amazing charitable organization! We were so pleased with our experience and look forward to working with him again!!”
