CYCLES 4 A CAUSE
Do you remember your first bicycle? Was it a mountain bike? Was it a 10-speed? Did it have a banana seat? Sadly, many children can’t answer any of these questions, as they have never owned a bike. But all that can change with the turn of a wrench. Easily the most popular team building experience around the country, bike builds bring excitement and joy to the faces of not only the youngsters that ultimately receive the brand-new bikes, but your participants, too. Sure there’s a little elbow grease involved, but knowing you’ve brought a smile to the face of an underserved child, when s/he receives his/her first bike, sure is worth it!
The Experience At A Glance
Cycles 4 A Cause starts off with an ice-breaking activity to get the competitive spirit flowing.
Teams earn their tool kits, bike kits, helmets, locks, and pumps by collectively completing photo, video, and trivia challenges, using our iPad Minis, loaded with Premier Pursuits®, our proprietary app.
Teams create and perform live publicity presentations highlighting the their hard work, spirit, and collaboration . . . often resulting in great laughs and thunderous applause for all.
No competition of this magnitude is complete with a little physical test, too . . . have you ever watched adults race each other on children’s bikes? It’s a site to behold, and we won’t deprive you of that experience.
Whenever possible, a representative from the philanthropic organization accepting your generous donation, on behalf of the children who will receive it, will address your group, providing a heart-warming, face-to-face acknowledgment of your hard work.
And, if possible, a surprise visit from children, accepting their very own bikes, is the piece de resistance.
"Matt has an amazing personality, and that shows in what he does.
Activities are very well organized and with a big fun component to them. They always make you look great!"
