PAINT 4 A PURPOSE
Our Paint 4 A Purpose experience will have you exhibiting your artistic flair in no time, all in order to make someone else’s day a bit brighter. Your participants will either collaboratively, or individually, paint canvas panels which, when hung together, create a full “pop art” wall mural, in style of Andy Warhol. Perhaps it’s a seascape . . . perhaps it’s animals . . . perhaps it’s something completely abstract . . . whatever the image, it’ll be beautiful, upon completion. The best part is that the mural is donated to a local organization that needs brightening up . . . a youth center . . . a nursing home . . . a children’s hospital . . . the choice is yours! So don your beret, grab your paint palette, and get ready to showcase your inner Picaso!
The Experience At A Glance
Upon arrival at the venue, participants are formed into teams, and are instantly engaged in stimulating icebreakers, to get in the “good will” and “creative” states of mind.
Our experience designers have procured a variety of mural images from which you may choose. Which mural your group creates is up to you, and larger groups have the opportunity to complete more than one. Additionally, we’re happy to design a custom image, that has significance to your organization, upon request.
This is not a simple “paint by numbers.” Teams must ensure that they mix their paints to create different shades and hues all within the same family of color, showcasing a wondrous work of art. Additionally, it is their decision as to which colors to use in each section of the image.
In the style of Andy Warhol, when each of the individual images are laid out together, they collectively create a “pop art” mural.
Fear not . . . our professional facilitator, and support staff, will guide the painters throughout the process.
The penultimate component of the program is the layout of the entire mural, as a complete masterpiece, where the artists are sure to stand in awe, as they observe their heartfelt accomplishment.
Whenever possible, a representative from the philanthropic organization accepting your generous donation will address your group, providing the ultimate, heart-warming, face-to-face acknowledgment of your hard work.
"The whole experience was amazing. I really cannot say anything more than THANK YOU! Your team and everyone made me look like a superhero.”
