FARM TO TABLE GATHERING
The farm-to-table social movement has been taking off since the early 2000s. Everyone has their spin on it, and we are no different! Through our support of initiatives that engage with local communities, we present our elevated interactive culinary experience around the farm-to-table trend. Our own Chef Jeanne escorts your teams through the process of utilizing locally-sourced agricultural products to design a menu, prepare the food, and serve an amazing multi-course farm-to-table meal. The array of local products will include not only food, but beverages and floral products to create a beautiful table and dining experience that will not soon be forgotten. A wine and beer pairing for each course is an optional feature. Take your event to new heights as we celebrate agriculture and regional culture through the cuisine that we create, with our Farm To Table Gathering!
The Experience At A Glance
Farm To Table Gathering starts off with an ice-breaking activity to get the competitive spirit flowing.
Teams collectively complete photo, video, and trivia challenges, using our iPad Minis, loaded with Premier Pursuits®, our propriety app, in order to earn the ingredients of their choice.
Those who earn points faster have a better chance of selecting the ingredients they want . . . although they do not know what specific dishes they’ll later be cooking, and then enjoying with their colleagues.
In order to cultivate true teamwork, no recipes, and minimal instruction, are provided. With guidance from Chef Jeanne, our culinary master, and maybe an iPhone or two, teams concoct their own recipes, utilizing the ingredients selected, to create award-winning dishes, specific to predetermined courses, for the overall meal.
Farm to table doesn’t just mean “to the plate.” Do you live in a community that prides itself on its many microbreweries? Is your event taking place in an area with lush vineyards and wineries? Does your company bottle certain spirits that will mix well with local, fresh produce? Let’s use one of all of these and pair beverages, local to the region with each course.
During the meal, the judges tabulate the scores, and the gold medals are ultimately bestowed upon the winning team immediately after dessert.
