BRIDGE THE GAP
How often in your work day do you find “gaps”? Gaps in communication, gaps in collaboration, gaps in resourcefulness . . . they all happen. Bridge The Gap is our answer to help you . . . well . . . bridge those gaps. Participants will work together using their creativity, brains, and brawn, to design and build a “bridge,” indicative of your organization, its people, products, and goals, which will support the weight of the entire group. Armed only with cardboard, duct tape, and a few decorative items, ingenuity and propaganda prowess fill the room. For those who fear physics – don’t worry – we guide participants through the process. Bridge The Gap is equal parts productivity, physics, and play . . . sure to unite your team in spirit and substance!
The Experience At A Glance
Bridge The Gap starts off with an ice-breaking activity to get everyone into the creative and competitive frames of mind.
Each team builds a section of the overall bridge structure, which must hold the weight of the team.
Building the structure is just part of the challenge. Decor must be added to showcase your company’s name, motto, products, people . . . whatever is most important to your group.
While each individual section of the bridge is important and “stands on its own,” it’s the connection of all of the pieces, that is the piece de resistance. The whole is greater than the sum of its individual parts. Not only must each section of the bridge properly align with all of the others, structurally, we encourage each team’s decor and visuals to align, together, for the overall company, mission, and theme.
We know that a little “oomph” in a product’s sales pitch helps. Each team will create a live publicity campaign, showcasing the team’s spirit, drive, and of course, individual section of bridge. Always entertaining, these “commercials” often elicit the deepest of guffaws from the audience.
The final moment brings “oohs” and “aahs,” as each member of your group crosses the bridge, individually, and then the whole group stands on it, as the flash bulbs pop, capturing the job well-done!
For those wishing to include some extra “oohs and aahs,” we drive a golf cart, with your C.E.O. or other V.I.P. riding along and waving to the excited crowd.
"Thank you again for everything.
They were RAVING about it at the dinner after.
You nailed it. Thank you!"
